Our mission is to foster interaction of community professionals between Florida cities
We provide an opportunity for business professionals and community leaders from around the state to network and cultivate financial development and growth.
Our Community Leader Socials are held on Wednesday evenings each month with a 15 minute presentation then Q & A half way through the event.
Proceeds to benefit Florida Take Stock In Children which provides underserved children with scholarships, mentors and Hope!
Florida Take Stock In Children is administered by the Hillsborough Education Foundation, Pinellas Education Foundation and Take Stock in Children Sarasota.
Club membership and event attendees include a diverse mix of economic, public policy, business and community leaders dedicated to the long-term success of communities throughout Florida.
HISTORY
In 2009, a group of business professionals from both sides of the bay formed a social group call Less Than Six Degrees and hosted happy hours that alternated locations between Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. In 2020, they changed the name to Florida Economic Club Tampa to make it more business oriented.
Since then, the club has begun the expansion around the state of Florida.
